I am still learning and testing different brands and styles over time. Whenever I find something that actually works well, I tend to reorder it later. Each material has advantages and disadvantages depending on season and activity. Online shopping will always have a bit of risk, but experience makes it easier. I do not trust only the star rating, I like to see detailed photos and longer comments.

For fashion and clothing I pay attention to fabric thickness and stitching details. Forums, blogs and communities create a kind of collective memory for shoppers. I think it is better to build a small collection of reliable products than to buy random cheap things. I also think about how easy it is to track a parcel once it ships.
